The Pasty Connection was set up 8 years ago as a Facebook group to enable people to liftshare easily primarily from SW Cornwall up to Bristol. Since it's humble beginnings the Facebook group exploded to where it now has over 34,000 members and lots of liftshares per day. The page became so popular that posts where getting lost and the need to produce an app with advanced location aware filtering and sorting of the posts became apparent...
